Scribbles and Ink

These two fun-loving artists couldn't be more different! One is a cat, one is a mouse. One likes clean pencil lines, one likes splattered paint. But together they make beautiful art! Each short follows the pair on a creative adventure where they create art together, separately, or provide instructions to viewers for how to create something special. There's lots of room in their world for their big, bold art - as long as they don't get in each other's way. The stories highlight the importance of compromising in art, and in friendship!

There are so many people that made Scribbles and Ink what it is today—Harriet Ziefert, Nicole Tugeau, Marisa Wolsky, Dave Peth, all the good folks at Global Mechanic and PBSKids, and you, the fans!—thank you all so much. The series started out as one picture book about a scribbly cat named Scribbles and an inky mouse named Ink, and then it just grew and grew. Today, there are millions and millions of users on the online interactive app and millions more readers of the eight (8) titles on Epic. It’s been nominated for two Daytime Emmys, won various other honors, and inspires people to send fan letters from all over the world. It warms my heart and also allows me the freedom to explore other avenues with my creativity. I am forever grateful.
