Greetings!

Hi there! It’s Ethan! Thanks for stopping by! Over my 35 year career, my creativity has taken me on quite a ride—from making Emmy-nominated television and digital series to writing and illustrating more than 150 books for children, along with collaborating on many others as an author, illustrator, and creative partner.

Creating is still so much fun—not because it’s easy, but because bringing ideas to life is challenging, unpredictable, and deeply satisfying. I’m especially inspired by collaborating with talented people to build something meaningful together. That same passion carries into my work as an art and literary agent, where I help other creators grow and succeed.

You may know my work through Scribbles and Ink on PBS KIDS and epic!, Tasty Time with ZeFronk on Disney Junior, or books like Dog Meets Dog, The Letter Setters, Fright Club, Chamelia and Tickle the Duck! My book Up! Tall! and High! received the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award, and I’ve also illustrated popular series including Stick Dog by Tom Watson and Junior Monster Scouts by Joe McGee.

I currently live in New York City with my wife Heather, where I spend my down time cooking delicious meals, FaceTiming with my three grown children, playing with my dog Auggie, enjoying good music and daydreaming about new and exciting story ideas.
