For almost six decades, I’ve been drawing, writing stories, and wearing off my fingerprints making stuff. It’s been quite a journey, from my early days as a young artist and freelancer to writing and illustrating award-winning children's books, creating Emmy-nominated television and digital series, and on to nurturing other creatives as an art and literary agent.
You may know my work through my ongoing creation, Scribbles and Ink on PBS KIDS and Epic!, but you can also browse around and see if you recognize anything else—Tasty Time with Zefronk on the Disney Channel, my illustrations for Stick Dog, or maybe even my book Up Tall and High, which won the Theodor Seuss Geisel Award!
I've lived in PA, CT, FL, and CO, and now live in New York City. I spend my downtime watching Quentin Tarantino movies over and over, laughing and sharing stories with my three grown children, disco dancing with my dog Auggie, being a music aficionado, and exploring all the city has to offer with my wife Heather (and by myself, too!)
